Security Information

Palisades Center Security is located on Level 3 in the Food Court behind Wendy’s. They can be reached 24/7 by phone at (845) 348-1010, or at one of the 60 emergency call boxes located in the parking lots (exterior, underground and parking deck). We encourage our guests, visitors and store employees to contact Palisades Center Security with any concerns, questions or issues you may have while on property. And please, if you see something, say something!

Violations of the Law

Any act defined by federal, state or local laws, regulations, or ordinances as a criminal act is prohibited. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Graffiti, property damage, defacing, damaging or destroying any real or personal property
  • Using or possessing consumer fireworks
  • Possessing guns and other personal weapons (which are banned on these premises)

Mall Equipment

Escalators are under video surveillance. Any misuse, malicious action, or purposeful neglect of safety standards in place for this or similar equipment will result in personal liability, criminal charges and payment for damages.

Strollers are available for rent for a nominal fee at two locations: lower level mall entrance near Macy’s or second level next to Glitter & Glam.

Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available for rent on a first come, first serve basis in the Mall Management office on Level Three behind Wendy’s in the Food Court. Guests can call (845) 348-1000 for more information.

Personal Possessions & Property

For the security of Palisades Center’s guests and your own personal possessions, please do not leave purses, shopping bags and other items unattended. Please be considerate of your surroundings and the personal property of other guests and mall tenants. Should you come across such items, Lost & Found is located in the Security Office located on Level 3 in the Food Court behind Wendy’s. We encourage everyone to report any missing or lost items to this location. If you would like to inquire about a lost or missing item, please call the Security Office at (845) 348-1010.

Conduct

Conduct that is disorderly, disruptive, or which interferes with and/or endangers businesses or guests is prohibited. Palisades Center management reserves the right to remove any groups or guests violating our code of conduct. Such conduct may include, but is not limited to:
  • Running, loud offensive language, spitting, throwing objects, fighting, horseplay, obscene gestures, gang signs, skating, skateboarding or bicycling
  • Pets are not permitted on the premises except for service animals. Exceptions may be made for pets being taken to and from pet stores or photography sessions, either on a leash or in a cage
  • Intimidating behavior by a group or individuals
  • Loitering; engaging in soliciting; blocking storefronts, fire exits, escalators or elevators; or walking in groups in such a way as to inconvenience others
  • Unauthorized picketing, demonstrating, soliciting, protesting or petitioning
  • Distribution or display of private content, materials or handbills requires the prior written consent of Palisades Center management

Clothing/Attire

Palisades Center requires all guests to wear appropriate attire; pants/shorts, shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Inappropriate attire may include, but is not limited to:
  • Apparel which has obscene language, obscene gestures, or racial/religious/ethnic slurs that are likely to create a disturbance
  • Clothing that deliberately obscures the face, such as hooded tops, balaclavas, ski masks or modified ski masks are also prohibited. (NOTE: Free face masks will be provided if necessary to assist guests who attempt to wear inappropriate attire as a means for COVID-19 protection.)
  • Bulletproof vests or simulated bulletproof vests
